Transfer

The screenprinter is home to some of Australia's latest transfer technology which means that you can feel confident your designs will look exceptional.

Digital Transfer's involves a solvent ink printer and a heat press. The special substrate is feed through the printer, the graphic has a special contour cut line added so the printers software can recognise the cut shape. Once printed this is weeded and applied to the garment using a time /pressure heat press.

Digital Transfer is often used as treatment on a garments, bags, hats... we often use this process for designs applied to long sleeve tops, named and numbered team uniforms, caps and tote bags.

Vinyl transfers are a process where a vinyl heat substrate is fed through a plotter. The graphic is then weeded out to reveal the graphic and then applied to the garment using a timed and pressure sensitive heat press.

Vinyl transfer is often used as a single colour treatment on products.

Screen printing is the traditional t-shirt printing method in which each colour in a design is separated out and burned to individual fine-mesh screens. Ink is then transferred to the shirt through the screen.

Screen printing is the perfect print method for large orders, unique products, prints requiring vibrant or specialty inks, or colour matching specific Pantone values. Screen printing has fewer limitations as to what products and materials can be printed on. The fast run times can make it a very economical option for Bulk orders. However, the labour intensive setup can make it expensive for small runs.
